Despite having been able to draw since childhood, I didn’t start taking art seriously ‘til about 2012. After opening my eyes to the world of animation, I quickly set to honing my skills through equal parts self-exploration and education at Metropolitan Community College. After a setback of carpal tunnel syndrome in 2018, I’ve found a new normal in which the balance of work and rest is honored. I’m now seeking to take my art to the next level, tell my own stories, and make it not just a sustainable career but also a sustainable lifestyle. I’m currently working on new creations and improving my craft in Omaha, Nebraska.
A former military brat, I learned very quickly to provide my own entertainment through stories and art. I also derived a variety of inspirations from everything around me, from what lay outside my backyard, the music that played on the radio, to whatever showed on the TV screen. I’m working on unifying all these inspirations into my work to further develop my style and build up unique bodies of work. My primary aim is to create in 2-D and tradigital mediums for art, comics, and animation, as well as building up on 3-D modeling and animation skills.
